What are SPFs records?
Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is a method of fighting spam. It specifies a list of authorised services that mail can originate from for a given domain name.
How do I add the record?
SPF records are added to your domain's DNS (Domain Name System) settings, so whoever has access to your domain registration account will need to add the record. (This could be GoDaddy, OpenDNS etc.)
Below is the TXT record that needs to be added your DNS settings
v=spf1 include:sendgrid.net ~all
If you already have SPF settings then you need to add our email delivery system to it (sendgrid.net). For example, if your record looks like this:
v=spf1 a mx include:_spf.google.com include:spf.protection.outlook.com ~all
You would add our lookup before the ~all mechanism, like so:
v=spf1 a mx include:_spf.google.com include:spf.protection.outlook.com include:sendgrid.net ~all
