Using BOMA content articles on your website or as a blog

Content in the BOMA content library can be shared via email and social media. You can also share our content as a blog on your website if it shows in the options as per the below screenshot.

HOW TO SHARE BOMA CONTENT ON YOUR WEBSITE AS A BLOG

There are two ways to do this:

  1. If your website is built on Wordpress you can connect BOMA to your blog using Zapier. This will then automatically post the article to your blog. For instructions on how to set up Zapier click here.

  2. If your website is built using another platform such as Wix or Squarespace then you will need to copy and paste the article manually from the BOMA content library into your blog.

ATTRIBUTION WHEN USING CONTENT AS A BLOG

The only time you need to attribute the original source of the content is if you are copying an article to your blog.

If the article you choose has a call-to-action that takes you to a separate website (e.g. Xero's Small Business Guides) then you should attribute that as the original source.

Here's 2 examples of how you might cite the source or correctly attribute an article:

  1. This post was originally published / written  by XYZ and has been updated for freshness, accuracy, and comprehensiveness

  2. The following content was originally published by XYZ. We have updated some of this article for our readers.
